Guess who's back..Back again..

..Aryn's back. Tell a friend.

The red head stared up at the mansion with a smirk. After disappearing for awhile, she had randomly come back. Naturally, with a few more kills under her belt, but no one needed to know about that, right? Still smirking, she lazily started up the driveway, wondering who all was still around.

Now look who's coming, yeah, look who's back. The 21st century killing machine.

No doubt there would be a change of faces, especially considering she'd been absent for quite some time. 'Course, that made her wonder if Deadpool was still around. Probably not. Not much had really changed when you got down to it. Everything was kind of dead since it was winter, otherwise, everything was the same. Reaching the circle drive, she raised an eyebrow. "What? No welcoming comity?" She snickered.

The red head looked up at the mansion again, wondering if her room still existed or if she'd go through the sign up process again. Snorting at that thought, she continued up to the door, paused and considered knocked. "..Ah to hell with that." Instead, she opened the door and stepped into the warmth of the mansion. "I'm baaack.." She said softly to herself, then snickered.

I'm feeling irrational, so confrontational, to tell the truth I am getting away with murder. And is it possible, to never tell the truth? But the reality is, I'm getting away with murder.

[Wolverine]

(( I can't remember if Wolverine ever met Aryn. I apologize if he did and they had a wonderful friendship, but it has been a year and my memory is not what it should be, so I'm leaving it open. ))

"Hey," said Wolverine. "You got a cigarette?" If Jean was still around, she would have scolded Wolverine for asking for cigarettes from students, but she wasn't, and that was the point. Internally, it hurt that was no longer around. But you'd never hear him say it.

Honestly, he didn't even fully recognize the person he was talking to. He was wrapped up in this Jean fiasco that he was feeling like he was losing his head. However, he'd never show it or shed a tear. It was just like everything in his life anyway. Why should he care? Things were getting better, and he had to move along and roll with the punches no matter how much they stung.

((They met and it wasn't any form of friendship. She kind of got on his nerves.))

The red head glanced up at the voice, reptilian eyes focusing on the source of it. She recognized him after a brief moment. "No, I don't. I thought you preferred cigars anyway." An eyebrow was raised as she regarded Logan. "Anyways, is Deadpool still around or did he scurry off?" Naturally, she'd love to hear that the merc with a mouth was still hanging around, but she suspected he wasn't. After all, he hated the x-brats, as he so fondly called them.

[Wolverine]

Wolverine now recognized as the girl as someone he wasn't thrilled to see. It was a long while, so he wasn't really sure exactly who she was, but this chick was certainly rather annoying. It didn't help that the nicotine monkey was scratching and he was in a terrible mood.

"I dunno. Haven't seen the guy around," he shrugged.

"Shame.." She mused to herself. Oh well. Maybe he'd pop up sometime. "So. What's happened while I was gone?" She might as well get up to speed. No doubt there was a change of students and possibly teachers. Though, this guy was still around. Hopefully, Scott hand wandered off. Annoying bastard.

[Wolverine]

"There was a shortage of beer," replied Wolverine. This was true. Somebody was stealing his Heinekens. Of course, he didn't mention the fact that Scott, Jean, and Xavier died. That was way too personal, and he was definitely going into detail right now with this chick.

[Aryn Vernier]

"I thought this was a school." She snorted. "I guess not. So nothing else besides a beer shortage, huh? Has to have been some sort of change in faculty or something. After all, I was gone for a year." She shoved her lands into the pocket of her battered trench coat. It seemed to her, that he was almost hiding something.

[Wolverine]

"Storm's the principal now," he replied. Although he thought Storm was a great leader, it just wasn't the same without good old Xavier. It might sound weird, but he missed having someone tell to smoking in the halls or accidently leaving dirty magazines in the lounge. He'd never admit it, but he even missed being called a dick by Scott. "And also, it is school. It's just not a Catholic school."

[Aryn Vernier]

"Xavier retired then?" She finally just leaned against the wall. The place really wasn't a school to her; just a place to hang around and cause trouble at. And causing trouble was something that she was great at doing. She refrained from snickering at the thought of some of the things she had done. Ah..THose were the days..

[Wolverine]

"No," replied Wolverine. "He died." It still felt awkward saying that sentence. There was a stiff silence. The wise mentor had been dead for a while now, but it still hurt to say those words. He wasn't as emotional as some, but he was definitely not happy to be talking about it. After a moment, he snapped out of it. "So, are you somebody's girlfriend or something?" He was surprised to find anyone who didn't know that the professor was dead.

Well, that was a minor surprise. She had only met the guy once. Probably dropped over from a heart attack or something. Then she snorted at the comment. "No, I was a student." Admittedly, there was some heavy flirting with Deadpool, but besides that? No romantic interests.

[Wolverine]

"Sorry," he shrugged. He didn't really care much. This girl wasn't really too much of his problem. Though he had made friends with some of the students, sometimes he found them kind of annoying. He was, well, however old he was and surrounded by teenagers. And that was probably pretty damn old compared to them. "Why are you looking for Deadpool anyway?"

[Aryn Vernier]

"Friend of mine. He hung out here for awhile." She frowned, not really wanting to go into details on exactly how close of friends they were. "Ah well. Not really surprised that he's not around. He wasn't really planning on staying around for long anyway."

[Wolverine]

"Yeah, he seems like the type to come and go." Damn Deadpool, he thought to himself. He was supposed to stay and be experimented on for a cure. Now Wolverine would have to face the experience of being a lab rat alone, which would probably be twice the trouble. Jerk.

[Aryn Vernier]

"Don't blame him. Most of the people around here get annoying." She was starting to warm up, especially since she was standing in front of a heater vent. Central air. Gotta love it.
