Twilight's hope rose. An office job, no way would she consider that. A job taking care of rescued animals, now that would suit her. She gave an accepting nod.
"Sounds more up my alley. Also, if you guys ever need an on site vet, I'll be here too. But how do I apply for such job?" She asked. Twilight hoped this job would work out. How convenient would it be for her to live at a place specifically for mutants, and with animals? It would be very convenient. The fact that they had on site animals also helped, because of her dogs. They wouldn't live in kennels, oh no, but the fact that they had other animals on the premises helped. Hopefully the fact that they were very well mannered helped too.

"Come to my office at 3 PM next Wednesday. I will be waiting for you with all the appropriate paperwork. You have my card, so if you have any questions or concerns that I have not already addressed, you can call me or leave a message with my secretary," she replied. She looked down at her watch. Although she did find this potential new employee useful, the corporate staff would probably start making decisions without her permission if she kept them waiting any longer. It didn't look good to be running in and out of meetings all the time, and she didn't want to lose respect from her employees.
"Well, it was nice meeting you, but I'm afraid I have a meeting to go back to. I look forward to seeing you in a few days."

Twilight nodded. So this was a good sign. They were moving forward. Twilight would assuredly be there for the meeting/appointment. Now she only had to find a place for her and her dogs to day. After all... If boarding was free here...
"Oh! Wait! Were could I stay until we get everything sorted out? You said boarding was free eh?" Only slight emphasis was put on the word 'free'. Hopefully her pack could stay with her. No way would she put them in a kennel. Twilight would sleep in her van if she needed to. Maybe I should mention the dogs too though... Twilight though. She could tell that the woman was in a hurry to get back to her meeting, but some questions had to be answered while she had her here.
"Also, I'm going to let my dogs out for a bit. Their trained, so you don't have to worry about them." Twilight motioned back to her van were a large black shepherd mix looked out of the passenger window. He had been watching the three with a frightening intensity. Twilight frowned slightly. He was probably not making a good impression. Twilight raised one hand, and moved it downward, palm facing and parallel with the ground. The shepherd jumped down immediately, and no more was seen of him. Twilight turned back to Rivera and smiled.

She reached into her purse, pulled out her blackberry, and sent a text message to her secretary.
Come to the front gates. There is a woman who needs lodging waiting for you here. She has dogs. She says they trained, but be careful around them anyway.
"My secretary will be with you shortly," she said. "She will lead you to your room. You can keep the dogs in our kennel."
Francesca was a bit wary about the dogs. She hoped this woman was all that she said she was. She would make sure of it tomorrow when she began the process of a background check. Francesca was not really animal lover. She was more interested in the affairs of humans.

Twilight bit her lip discreetly. She wasn’t exactly willing to separate herself from her pack. Her dogs needed her, the most she would be willing to be separated from them is for a few nights. Maybe once her pack proved itself they could stay with her. Besides, even with all the dogs, she kept a clean house. Sure there was a stray hair or two that could be found, but not three. Even though she disagreed about the kennel part, Twilight nodded. There was nothing she could do until she had the appointment with Francesca.
With all of her questions answered, Twilight assumed Francesca to leave. She gave Darren a lingering glance, hoping he would strike up a conversation, or at least give a sub-conscious and automatic cue for her to start speaking. Because of her more animal side, to put it one way, Twilight was very much in tune to people and animal’s body language. This unnerved people sometimes, the way she seemed to be able to read their thoughts. It was all in observation though. One could learn much about a person in a short amount of time by knowing basic human body language and then watching them.
