It was just any ordinary day. Outside, the weather was mild. The sky was blue, with barely any clouds. The sun was shining brilliantly.
Pandora lay on her bed, studying psychology. The frontal lobe is area of the brain that controls morality, inhibitions, and judgement, proclaimed the textbook.
Yeah, you don't have to tell me twice, thought Pandora. She sighed.
Suddenly, she heard a loud thumping noise coming from where she hid the box. "No, not again!" she cried. She ran towards the floorboard and open it. The box was wide open. She heard a loud screeching noise. In smoky letters, the word "Hatred" was spelled out in front of her.

Jason came running upon hearing screams. He banged on the door hoping for an answer that would ease him before he kicked the door open.

Matt ran to the door as well, hearing Pandora screams. He looked at the man in front of the door, thinking he may be attacking her. He used his telekinesis to puch the man back to a wall, before going up to him.
"Who the hell are you! Why are you attacking her!" Matt roared as he turned around and saw Pandora on the floor with the word in front of her. He dropped King and ran to her.
"Pandora? Are... Are you ok?" He asked, hugging her, but making sure no skin contact was made.

She hugged Matt back. "Matt! It's not Jason. It's the box!" The screeching noise wouldn't stop. The word "Hatred" still hovered in the air. "It's open. It's going to bring something horrible into the world, just like when it brought Inhumanity Syndrome. The last time it opened, the word was greed, and I think that caused Francesca Rivera to try to make money off of mutant hatred and Inhumanity Syndrome. Now I don't what's going to happen. Oh Matt!" She started crying.

Jason just blinked a bit confused. He growled a bit. "What the hell is your problem man! Why the hell would I want to hurt her!" Jason yelled at Matt. "I came 'cause I heard the scream." He looked at Pandora and just seemed confused at it all.

Matt listened to her cries and about what had happened about the last time. He looked at her and said,
"We have to do this. Learn to control it," Matt said as he removed his glove on his right hand and held it to Pandora.
"Together. Do you trust me enough to do this?" Matt said. He wanted to help her so badly, he'd be willing to absorb her power.

Jason stepped back, if what he was doing was he thought he was doing, some freaky things were about to go down. He didn't move though. Something in him made him stay stationary, just watching.

She shook her head. "Matt, I can't give you my power. It's too risky. There can't be two of me running around. It's not just about you and me. It's about the entire world. I can't put it in danger any more than it already is."
The screeching noises abruptly stopped, but the word "Hatred" stil hung ominously in the air. It seemed to be a warning of the future, a mysterious harbinger of ill-fortune that refused to leave.

Jason's ears stopped ringing finally, "Wh-What's it mean?" he asked first his head tilted to one side. (in case we can if not I'll change it)

Matt looked at her in sympathy, but at the same time in determination. He looked at her in the eyes and withdrew his hands.
"OK... For now." Matt said as he looked at the word hovering there.
"So... What happens now? Does something happen with that word being linked to it or something?" Matt asked as he hugged her again, making sure no contact was made.

"The reason why they call me Pandora is because I'm a reality bending mutant, and my power is within this box. Every time it opens, it follows the story of Pandora's box. You know how in the story she opened the box, and she let the various evils into the world? Well, that's pretty much what happens when this box opens. So far, sickness and greed have been released. Sickness has taken the form of Inhumanity Syndrome, and greed is Francesca Rivera trying to make money off of people's suffering. And now we have to deal with whatever hatred is." She hoped Jason would understand what she just said. She knew it was rather complicated.

Jason's brain sort of stoped for a moment absorbing what she said. "I.S... was your powers doing?" He blinked, his mind was putting pieces together. His mind hit the conclusion that the powers was not in her control. "hatred... hatred..." He tried to think pacing, and panicking. "If Sickness caused Inhumanity Syndrome and greed cause Ms. Rivera to get cash from the suffering of others." his mind panicked but he kept his cool on the outside, appearing just be in deep though.

She nodded. "Yes," she replied. "But it wasn't as if I wanted it to happened. It just did. I don't know how or why. It just did. One day the box opened and said 'Sickness.' I had no idea what was going on. Then I started hearing about Inhumanity Syndrome on the news. I didn't understand the connection until I heard that the first cases were found around this area. And then it sort of clicked in my mind."

"I understand." Jason said and he smiled. "You don't seem like the person who would release something like that.." His smile faded, "I'm concerned about this 'Hatred'." He stared at the word. "What does it mean..." he whispered under his breath, his eyes darkening a bit.

"Well, so far you said that Greed, Sickness and Hatred have escaped. That leaves envy, lust, old age, death and hope." Matt said as he thought about it and looked to Pandora.
"You said these are all connected... Sickness brought IS, Greed made this Rivera chick cash in on the cure. Hatred... Hatred may be the community rebeling against her or something..." Matt said as he suddenly had a memory of Markus telling him about a client.
"Markus... That's his new client! Rivera is working with my... brother?" Matt said as he got up and helped Pandora off the floor. Was that what Hatred was? Markus turning on the school?
"I think I know what it stands for. My brother is working with her. He may be doing this out of hatred for my last drug addiction, or what he thinks was an addiction!" Matt said, throwing out some ideas as to what it may be.
