[/b][/color][/left]Mutants. Since the discovery of their existence they have been regarded with fear, suspicion, often hatred. Across the planet, debate rages. Are mutants the next link in the evolutionary chain or simply a new species of humanity fighting for their share of the world? Either way it is a historical fact: Sharing the world has never been humanity's defining attribute.
For the protectors of Earth no one wants to admit, of course known as the X-Men, the struggles continues as it constantly builds to what will be an eventual conclusion that will shatter every occupier of the world to its core. Teams divided for different purposes, the need for firmer action consequentially causing the creation of three squads. A future to be planned for, perhaps naively, but nevertheless, a time that is hoped will become the present one day, students are trained as young X-Men, who dream of living up to the expectation on their teenage shoulders.
The result of M Day felt, Xavier's school's loneliness is felt with only a sparse number of students left remaining with power, those who lost them leaving, perhaps now considered 'normal'. The man himself, Charles Xavier, with his powers returned to him again and the use of his lower limbs, also a result of the M Day events, doesn't have the respect or input from what was once his team, the institute now being run by Scott Summers and Emma Frost. As the days go by, essentiality will be the key for survival, who will be decisive in the outcome of mutantkind?[/font][/b]
