Sitting on a obsidian throne, Erik's eyes wandered to his collection of allegorical statues. Patience stood silently on a pedestal. He reflected on the other day when one of the younger Brotherhood members had said the statue was "Venus di Milo but before they cut off the arms, right?" It was sad how low the standards of the American education system had fallen.
Patience was more than just a statue. Every plan, every method, every strategical-minded procedure needed the meticulous hand of patience. His followers were youthful and hotheaded. It was difficult to teach them this lesson. One day, they would learn.
He waited for his fellow mutants to arrive. He had not asked all of them to arrive. This was a mission for only a few members. He would relay the rest of the information to the others.
