Drinks Anyone?

Matt was walking down the corridors and stumbled into the kitchen. He'd only been here for a couple of days and he was still learning his way around. At least his teleportation was useful when he found the places he needed to get to fast. He walked into the kitchen and upto the huge fridge. He opened it up and had a look around at the drinks that were available.

"Cola, Cola, Orange juice, Iced Coffee? Ew." Matt murmured to himself as he found a stack of beers hidden behind the milk. There was a sign saying "DO NOT TOUCH", even though the NOT had been ripped off. Matt smiled as he picked the beer out of the fridge.
"Ah, they're not going to miss one." Matt said as he opened the bottle and pulled out a box of pain killers. He slipped two pills into his mouth and sipped on the beer to wash it down. He wanted to take the pain killers early, to stop the onset of his telepathy giving him headaches.

[Aryn Vernier]

The red head slinked into the kitchen to grab some chow and raised an eyebrow at the new guy..But most importantly, what he was drinking. "Y'know..Wolverine is going to kick your ass for drinking his beers.." She smirked as she moved to the cabinet and grabbed a bag of chips. "Might want to beg for mercy when he finds you 'cause I doubt he'll be in a good mood."

Matt turned around when Aryn had walked in and told him about some guy named Wolverine.
"Well, it's a good thing I can heal then, isn't it?" Matt said as he sipped the rest o the beer and threw it into the trash.
"I'm Matt. I'd shake your hand, but I don't know what your power is. I'm kinda keeping clear of the dangerous ones. So I don't accidently copy them." Matt said as he walked over to the cabinet and pulled out some chips.

"So, what's your name?" Matt asked, casually leaning back against the bench, and began eating.

[Aryn Vernier]

She snorted. "Just because you can heal doesn't mean he still won't lay the smackdown on you." Opening up the bag, she peered into it before selecting a chip to eat. "That's a good thing then. I don't want any more raptors running around. I'd have to kill you." She smirked at him as she ate the chip. "Aryn Vernier. Queen Reptilian Bitch of the Universe."

"Nice name." Matt said as he got up and threw his trash into the bin as he got out another bag of chips and began to eat them.
"Why is it that every girl in this place has some issue against everyone here?" Matt asked as he ate casually, raising an eyebrow to Aryn and smiling slightly. He wasn't usually this flirty, but he thought he may take a chance.

She didn't sit down, but instead, leaned against the counter. "Because we're a bunch of hormonal freaks? I don't know. I hate everyone equally. Everyone else is just trying to be as cool as me." She smirked. "Don't ask me. I keep to myself in all seriousness." The last thing she needed was another person flirting with her. She already had the speedster after her; looks like she was starting to get a bit of a fan club.

"Ah come on, I need something to keep myself from getting into trouble." Matt said, hopping down and walking to Aryn.
"You could show me around, since I don't really know my way around just yet." Matt suggested, hoping that Aryn would spend some time with him. Because really, he was feeling a little left out.

[Aryn Vernier]

"I cause trouble regardless.." She then raised an eyebrow at him. "Find your way around like everyone else." Aryn wasn't really the social type. She stuck to herself and that was that. That was just her; disliking everyone and preferring to be left alone. She watched him, almost boredly, as she munched on her chips.

"Well where's the fun in that?" Matt said as he looked back at Aryn.
"Well, just so you know, I'm not flirting with you. I've got someone else on my mind. I was just wondering if you would make a good friend?" Matt said as he walked back to the fridge and pulled out some soda.
"So, you wanna show me around?" He asked.

"Nah..Extinct reptiles don't make good friends." She smirked, then shrugged. "Well, there honestly isn't anything else to do. So, I guess I can show you around. Although, it's pretty boring."

"Ok, lead the way Ms. Extinction." Matt joked as he got up and opened the door for Aryn.
"Ladies first. My brothers taught me to be gentleman" Matt joked as he put on a swauve face as he held the door open for her.

[Aryn Vernier]

She rolled her eyes a bit as she headed out of the kitchen and started leading him to the rec room. "This is obviously the rec room and entertainment area. Plenty of games, movies, and fun stuff like that." The tour really wasn't going to be very long, most of the place was either classrooms or dorm areas. "Really, the most important areas are the kitchen and the rec room."

"Do you guys get cable?" Matt asked as he walked with Aryn, taking in the locations of the places, so teleporting would be a hellva lot more easier.
"At least teleporting will be easier now." Matt joked as he walked around with Aryn some more.
"So what, no secret rooms where you get cool gadgets or anything? No spy shit?" Matt asked, since this place did house the X-men team.

[Aryn Vernier]

"Yeah, we have cable, all the channels except for the X-rated channels." Next up was the living room which was just a bunch of chairs and a fireplace. "Yeah, there's secret shit, but I'm not a member, and neither are you. So I can't take you down there." After the living room would be the gym.

"So like, how do we apply? Fill out a form or something?" Matt asked, as he wanted to know how to join. He thought that instead of causing trouble for people, how could help them instead. He pulled out some more pills and took them, his headaches starting up again.
"I just wanna be a hero, in a way. You know what I mean?" Matt said, as he washed them down with the water in his back pack.
