Jess sat on one of the couches and read a book of hers it had a pink bunny on the cover, it was just a children’s book she would read when she was little about bunnies and magic all happy fluff... she liked that kind of stuff. She put the book down and cocked her head to the side and smiled; she slowly slid of the couch to her knees and put her hand over the table in front of her a small image of a pink bunny from the book. She smiled as it hoped across the table then it diapered and she got up and sat on the couch again.
She hadn't been at the school very long only about a week or two and hadn't really met any one yet. She was a very happy girl despite all that had happened to her; but because of her past she kept to herself most of the time it was just an old habit hard to shake off. Jess continued look around the room then her glance fell back to the book that was sitting on the couch next to her, she picked it up and placed it on the table in front of her. Then picked up paper that she had placed on the table next to her, she picked up the book again so she would have something to lean on. Jess took the pencil and closed her eyes bringing it around the paper; even with her eyes closed she could just imagine what was being put onto the paper, when she opened her eyes she looked down at the paper. The image that she had imagined was on the paper a picture of the pink bunny… every time she read this book she always had to draw a pink bunny she didn’t know why but it made her happy.

Knowing that a marathon of Full House was on today, Pandora had come to the rec room to watch her favorite show. She had loved it ever since she was a little kid. Lately, she had been watching a lot of the old family sitcoms. Seeing a happy family together helped her during such a difficult time in her life, although it did make her miss her parents more. She remembered watching it with them when she was young.
When she entered the room, she noticed another girl there. Like Pandora, she had a fondness for children's books. Pandora watched with amazement as a bunny from the book came to life and then disappeared.
"How did you do that?" she asked, approaching the girl.

Jess looked up and smiled at the girl who had just walked in. She looked to the table to where she had made the bunny appear. Her power had helped her through rough times she knew if she concentrated hard enough or was upset the things would become almost real, she had also figured out she could change her appearance but that took to much out of her so she didn't do it much or really ever.
Then back at the girl then smiled again "I just can" she said "its only an image" she said nicely she really didn't know how else to explain it.

"Wow, that's cool," she said. She was hoping to meet another reality bending mutant. She wondered what kind of powers this girl had. Illusionism was similar to reality bending. The only difference that illusionism create things that were only real in the mind. Pandora wished that her power was like that, creating only imaginary things. That way this Inhumanity Syndrome nightmare would be over.
"What's your name?" she asked.

She looked at the girl she really wasn't used to people being... well so nice, besides her sister and grandmother no one really treated her well for example her father, but she didn't like to think about that so she didn't. She never really thought of her power as being different.
"Jessica... Jess" she answered "Yours?" she asked.

"I'm Alice," she replied. "Nice to meet you." She extended her hand to shake. Though Pandora could be somewhat shy, she knew how to be polite. That was the way she was brought up. And she sincerely meant what she said. Right now, she could definitely use a friend. She wondered if Jessica would recognize her as Pandora. On the plus side, if she did, at least they could share their experiences as mutants who could change the world around them with a blink of an eye.

She smiled as the girl reached out her hand Jess did the same and shook her hand. She didn't really know where she got her manners from they just kind of were there always.Jessica was just getting used to being allowed to go places and not be locked in her room she never really recognize people yet but in due time she would.
"Nice to meet you Alice." she had never really had a friend before besides her sister; she didn't even know where her sister was right now.

"Are you new here? I haven't you seen around before." Being that Pandora had been living at the institute for two years, she recognized most people's faces. She wasn't the most social person in the world, but she still knew who had been around for a while. She had never met Jessica before, so she figured she might be new. Or maybe she was just someone whom she never encountered before.
Pandora noticed that Jessica seemed a bit shy. It was something they both had in common, although Pandora was usually much shyer than now. She hoped to befriend someone with whom she had something in common, so she was a bit more outgoing than normal.
