Jason entered his room, he had yet to see, smell or hear of a roomate. His bag was secured next to his bed. Sitting down on the mattress he withdrew a book from his pocket and opened it. It spoke of only wolves. Their nature and how they live, he was still trying to understand them.

In the past few weeks, Pandora hadn't seen or heard from her friend Tyler at all. She was beginning to miss him. He had entered her life and stolen her heart so quickly. She decided to look for him in the dormitories. Passing by an open dorm, she checked to see if he was in it. Instead, there was another boy with an unshaved look to him.
"Excuse me, do you know where Tyler's dormitory is?" she asked.

Jason snapped out his book and looked at Pandora, he shook his head. "No." He said in a quiet low voice. "I don't think I've even met him." He looked back at his book a little nervously.

"Oh, I'm sorry to interrupt you. You look like you're doing something important." She blushed. She was quite easily embarrassed, and looking at the expression on the boy's face, it looked like she probably shouldn't have come at all.

"It's all right." He set down the book carefully. "I have all night to read." He stood up and smiled slightly. "Since, I don't believe we met, I'm Jason, Jason King, you could also call me Wolf." He said with a slight smile, he didn't dare show his teeth. "And you are?"

"I'm Alice, but you can call me Pandora." It seemed she was making a lot of new friends lately. She was glad. With her personality and reputation, it was difficult to socialize sometimes. "Nice to meet you." She hoped that if he recognized her name that he wouldn't judge her for her past. She was, after all, the source of a global pandemic.

Jason remembered the name Pandora from something he had read before. He decided not to ask unnecessary questions, however she gained that nickname was her business and if she felt like telling him she would. "It's nice to meet you too." He realized how horrible he was at making small talk right then. "So, how long have you been at the School?" it was the only thing he could manage to muster.

"I've been here for two years," said Pandora. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you around." There were so many new students flooding in recently. She had befriended quite a few. Ever since the Rivera Corporation had launched anti-mutant protection gear, a lot of mutants were seeking protection of their own. It was rather sad actually.

"Sorta" He said rubbing the back of his head. "I've been here since last Friday. I haven't been really outside of my room much though." He shrugged putting both hands in his pockets.
((OOC: I hope the Friday thing isn't a problem. I put it in my profile. Though it's not technically accurate, considering the journey began on my birthday, June 26th and took three days. Eh, doesn't matter))

(( That's fine. ))
"Yeah, we have a lot of new students coming in," she said. "Do you like it here?" She certainly did. Although she did miss Indiana, the institute served as haven for her.

"It's better then sticking around where I was." Jason said with a sigh, remember his friend and Father. "It was worth the trip though." Jason looked around the room dully. "I'm still adjusting, I guess."

"Oh." She understood that it could be rough for mutants. She herself had to come to the institute because she was no longer welcome in her town. "It is hard at first, but eventually you get used to it."

"I hope so." He sighed "Never been this far away from home well, never been this far away from my parents." He sat on the bed again. He was mumbling to himself now "I wonder how many people here actually took the cure.."

"Excuse me, what did you say?" She couldn't hear his whole sentence, just something about the cure. It rather worried her because she herself had taken it, and that was what had caused this whole mess.

"it-" He bit his lower lips then let out a yip almost piercing his own flesh. "I said, I wonder how many people here actually took the cure. I wasn't able to get around to getting it. I was already at terms with what I was." he crossed his arms. "Didn't have some weird effect? I mean beside Inhumanity Syndrome." he would beat himself up later for bring up a topic like that.
