Character's Real Name: Spencer Cameron Adams
Character's Nickname/Mutant Name (optional): Blitz
Character's Age: 18
Character's Gender: Male
Character's Occupation (student, professor, etc): Rogue
Human or Mutant?: Mutant
Is your character a Changeling?: No
Affliation (X-men, Brotherhood, CIA, etc. or None): None
Powers/Abilities/Skills:
- Control of Electricity - This means creating, and also bending an already available source, including lightning. With this ability he can do a variety of things, including form the electricity into shapes.
Character's History (must be at LEAST 7 sentences): Spencer first discovered his powers during a particularly brutal beating that he witnessed. His father had come home drunk, and he usually did, and when his mother confronted the man about it, he reacted physically. It was Spencer, at the age of 14, who intervened. However, when he pushed his father, there was another force behind the shove than just his strength. He inadvertently shocked the man. He didn't stick around to witness his damage. He ran away that very night, that very moment, and has not returned since.
He has lived on the streets, occasionally able to fund a hotel room for a couple of nights or so. He steals to survive, and to provide for himself.
Character's Personality (must be at LEAST 7 sentences): Spencer isn't the friendliest of guys. He doesn't socialize much, and reach out to make friends, yet he seems to be one of those people that others gravitate toward. He has a very quiet demeanor, and keeps more to himself. He doesn't speak much conversation why, and is hard to connect with, even when it comes to simple conversation. He tends to provide one word answers, or non-verbal answers.
One of the reasons he's so detached from others is quite frankly he doesn't like people. He finds most people to be incredibly annoying and stupid, and gets frustrated with people very easily, especially when it comes to when someone doesn't understand something. He's very impatient, and has no problem with showing his displeasure with others.
While he has a temper, it's difficult to get him to really openly display his anger. He doesn't show much emotion in general, and has good control over his expressions and reactions and such. Nonetheless, while it's very easy to get on his nerves, it's difficult to get a noticeable rise out of him, less you have a knack for recognizing body language.
Another main aspect to Spencer's personality is that he's seemingly good at absolutely everything he tries. He has that perfect persona going for him, though he doesn't flaunt it in the least. He doesn't have an ego, and he doesn't put as much effort as he can into everything he does. In fact, he puts little to no effort into it all. If he tries something however, he tends to be a natural, and overall, learns very quickly and without trouble.
Overall, Spencer is a loner. He has a few acquaintances, and although people are constantly approaching him, he has little to no people that he'd actually call friends. Part of this is because of his inability to trust people. He isn't one of those people who trusts someone until they give him a reason not to, but rather the opposite. He won't trust someone until they've proven they can be.
Spencer is also very skilled in lying. He's good at coming up with stories on the spot when he needs an excuse, and he's able to do this without flaw in the story he creates. He always seems to have a reason for everything, and it's near impossible to tell when he's not telling the truth, because he remains completely calm, and collected.
In general however, he's a bit of a mystery due to his silence.
Character's Appearance (must be at LEAST 5 sentences):
Spencer stands at about 6'1", putting him on the taller side of people. He's rather muscular, but still lean at the same time, so by no means bulky. His hair is brown, though appears lighter the shorter he cuts it, and he does occasionally buzz it. When he doesn't however, he allows it to grow out, at which point it naturally stands up some. His eyes are a faded light green, like moss, edging toward an almost tan color. He's slightly tanned, though not overly slow, leaning more toward the white side.
Spencer has a tattoo of a cat paw, claws and claw marks included, on his back right shoulder. Both of his ears are pierced with diamond studs, and he has two silver rings through his upper right ear. He also has a thickish green rubber band on his right wrist, of which he never takes off. It's a coping mechanism for his anger. When he starts to get annoyed with someone or something, he begins to snap it against his wrist.
Roleplay Sample (must be a LEAST 7 sentences): Different character, taken from an HP site:
Ash had actually just taken a seat next to a very frustrated looking male. Zane had just received a letter - which was sitting unsealed on the counter in front of him - from his step-parents about Alice, his younger sister. It merely read that she was not doing so well, and was not respond well to the chemo. He hated getting updates about his sister. While he was glad to be kept in the loop, getting bad news was so frustrating because he knew she would be fine if their damn step-parents would just take her to St. Mungo's!
His hand was gripping a Butter Beer bottle rather tightly, perhaps far more than was safe if he didn't want it to break, but he hardly even noticed. He was far too concentrated on trying to keep himself calm, though it wasn't working in the least. He wanted nothing more than to knock the crap out of both of their step-parents until they agreed to get Alice the treatment that she needed. She was going to die for God's sake if they didn't!
He gritted his teeth, his hand tightening around the bottle, until a moment later, it cracked without warning, and then shattered. The sound, and the piercing sting of the glass cutting his palm, brought Zane out of his anger-ridden trance, and back to reality. The person tending the bar, along with various other people in the room, turned to look at him. He made eye-contact with the girl working the bar, who immediately picked up a rag to wipe up the mess. As she did so, she gave Zane a clean one for his hand, not saying a word. Zane came to the Hog's Head quite often, and commonly spoke to the girl, Anna, behind the bar. She was aware of a lot in his life, and probably guessed what the letter was about, which was why she didn't ask, and just cleaned the mess up.
"Sorry." Zane muttered quietly to her. She offered him a reassuring smile as she went to throw away the glass, and he wrapped the wet cloth around his hand. He completely ignored the looks he was getting. He really didn't care at the moment.
