Will had been driving around for hours trying to get a lead on where his brother Troy was and he was getting a little tired and thirsty. He drove down one street and saw a bar on the left hand side and decided to stop in or a drink. As he walked in he notice there wasn't a lot of people inside, so he grabbed a table near a window and ordered brandy with cola. He sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed his drink.

Jasmine was in the bar that one of the guys from school had shown her not long ago. She had been very lonely, feeling isolated around all the harried feelings of her peers. She just wanted to escape. So she had come to the bar. She didn't want alcohol. It wasn't fun to drink alone, but she did order a lemonade. She was strangely drawn to a man sitting by the window. She walked over, lemonade in her hand, to join him.
She was wearing a dark, knee length skirt, and a light green top that showed a little more of her cleavage than she was used to. Her hair tumbled down around her shoulders and her lips wore a tiny smile.
"Hello. You're looking for someone. Can I help?" She asked, sounding concerned.

Will was looking out the window while take small sips. His eyes shifted to look at the girl who had just sat across from him, then shifted back. "You know, it's not nice to read other peoples minds without asking." He said "In these times, it's a good way to get yourself killed, but yes I am." Will then sat back in his chair and looked dead at the girl. "I'm trying to find my older brother, Troy; you've seen or heard of him?"

Jasmine laughed a little nervously. "I didn't read your mind, I read your emotions. It's harmless." She said with a smile as she tucked a bit of hair behind her ear. "What times? I'm kinda new around here. I don't know what's going on." She admitted softly. "Troy? Nope. Haven't heard of him, and if I've seen him then I didn't know who he was. Do you want me to help you look?" She asked.

Will set his glass down still looking at the girl. "Well there was a time when you could be different and people just call you weird, but now if you're different you're called a mutant and hunted for it." Will took another sip. "No I just need to pick up his trail again."

Jasmine actually laughed at that. "Hunted?" Her smile faded a little as she remembered the girl who had hunted her. The one with pink claws that hurt like hell. She w0ould never forget that. She went quiet for a little while before speaking again. "Do you know where he'd be?"

Will shook his head. "If I knew that, I wouldn't be here." Will started shifting his glass. "All I know is he's somewhere in this city."

Jasmine frowned. She liked to help, she just didn't see how she could do it in this situation. She stared at his glass as she thought. "Well, I'll be on the lookout. Does he look like you at all? I'd probably recognize him." She said, sitting up a bit straighter now that she had something to smile about.
